Clad In Thoughts

I placed me In my thought, a large balcony covered with leaves, and long straws, with colourful petals growing on numerous stems that sprouted, cloudy over my head it was with bright light rays piercing the clouds. Like a garden, the balcony was pleasant with it's smell. At a corner sat a chair I saw myself sitting in as comfortable as my brain could imagine; warm, soft, clean and pleasant.  "Hmm, I could sit there for years" myself in my thoughts thought to itself.  Right inside my thought was the girl I liked standing at a corner the size of a rice grain whom a me adored so much. At another corner stood another me like a grain working so hard as though it was trying to build a V12 engine on AI. At another corner was another grain me marking my own exam scripts correcting my mistakes and scoring myself high as I marked. Then at another corner was another grain me barking at the top of its voice at a grain who seemed like the president, arms crossed, face frowned, seeming...

episode 8 - 'Some Authority shit'. At a time , when young people found something to keep themselves busy came so much outburst and disgust from authorities within the country. so while they (young people) were busy reaping off some cool easy cash with less stress and mild work, "something called working the street," living loud and noisy, they became potential targets for the Efcc and most especially the Police, and also small security units in each state within the country, my statistics has it that, out of every seven male adults from ages 18 to 30, at least one "worked the street".. now who's checking? At this time, it was forbidden for young males to wear deadlocks, ear rings, and tattoos; basically looking dope and fly was being frowned at by these authorities then to make things worse for you, get spotted with all these in a car and be below the age 24 and you'll be tagged a "fraudster." here's the irony; the authorities thinks...

Episode - 6 "self treaty"   On a cool calm morning, after a heavy rain in the early hours, I laid in bed thinking the best recipe for a "my kind of morning" dish. And I thought to myself, maybe, just maybe 'Akara and Akamu' (without milk), just sugar would be perfect. I stopped one to think about making it myself, but I may starve before I finish the preparation. So it stepped off my bed for the nearest local breakfast spot. Nma Tedus, a local who own a little joint for mainly local dishes and palm wine. A typical African spot where one could listen to the funniest jokes, and the wisest saying. That was where I saw Mr obiugwu and Mr wale for the first time, they both are different personalities but had something in common, palm will and local Gin. Mr obiugwu is a short and rounded man, his voice was like the sound of an old model speaker on loud volume, people thought it was his excessive consumption of palm wine that destroyed his vocal cords. Mr wale o...

Epispde 3    " ..Intros.. " I was born in the 90s. A time when things were working quite well in the south eastern region of west Africa, my brother, Raphael Ezeh and i kenechukwu Ezeh live in our residential home, my home was an average one, we were just ok. our elder sister jasmine was away for her studies, so i and my sixteen-year old brother, Raph live with our parents. Though i was stubborn when i was he's age, it wasn't anything close to Raph's stubbornness. You've got to tell him the fact about a thing if you are telling him about that thing for the first time because, he holds on to first impressions. And just like me, he his own man. So believe me when i say we fight every day. Well, it more like me beating him up every day because he's obviously no match for me. So yes, here's my little intro for the mains..

Episode 2 -'the police is yourfriEND' A typical po'po within this clans enjoy to deal with 'snitch' situations.. In my neighborhood, we have no business with the police. So they help themselves at the slightest situations such as, minor matters like an argument between two friends on a girl. On a cool Sunday evening, I got engaged in a street fight i knew nothing of, well i was self defending. The craziest brother in my neighborhood took me passing by the street during their crew's argument personal, so he tried making me a victim, well, i was going to resist, i wasn't some damned little nigga prey to feast on, while I was feeling all doped up, i realized i was  disadvantaged by the numbers, so when it was about to get to its peak between I and the crew, other street niqqas got involved, ofcause it was gangs and frats stuff. Before i knew what was up, a street fight had evolved, it was barks! and bottles, and shouts, and bellows and punches and stone r...

Episode 1 'stay in Africa' I was 15 when i finished secondary school, a rare situation in clans around the world like Nigeria. So legally, i am to wait till I'm 17 to be in a university. Well this is no problem as jamb is willing to help with the job. But I didn't care about Jamb, or collage or anything, i just wanted to leave Nigeria, basically Africa. So i scraped jamb for three years hoping to get a scholarship in a country that is not in African. In my naive small mind, to me i was "my own man"so i took instructions from nobody, But it doesn't work like that here because ass whooping from parents in clans like Niaja is something they do with pride, its "proudly African" with the 'WHOOP RESPONSIBLY' tag on it. that's why you don't get to see punkass brats in africa. So i stayed at home for some years and before i knew what was up, i was 19. I didn't want to be a 22 year old 100 level niqqa in college. So it ran...
